The Ekaa Penthouse is a 15000 sqft penthouse based in Bangalore designed by Fulcrum Studio headed by Architect Husna Rahman. The design of Penthouse creates indefinite viewsconnecting to the sky and beautiful transitions of spaces. One such transitional corridor has the stone sculptures highlighted in the backdrop through a parallel series of metal barsextending up to the ceiling and linear lighting profiles installed along them reflecting fromthe marble. Husna has also added a beautiful touch of personalisation to the corridor makingit nevertheless unique. This corridor is minimalistic, budget friendly and can be versatile inits usage in various spaces. Patterns and Shapes
The Quirky Art deco driven Apartment is designed by the flamboyant Aamir and Hameeda Sharma adding a different element to their projects each time. The flooring consists ofa beautiful palette in Prussian Blue, SoftPeach and Mute Grey in a dynamic zig zagpattern which also connects with otherparts of the space making the experience ofthis passage encapsulating and path defining. Flooring Tiles. It is further highlighted bycontinuous thin slated pinewood on oneside of the wall and in curved form onceiling concealing the doors and giving thewhole passage a seamless look simultaneously.
Dynamic Ceilings
Lalita and Mujib of a Mumbai based firmCollaborative Architecture recreated theMezban Restaurant based in the city of Calicutin a 3000sqft area with a new ideology forBusiness clientele. The space planning of thewaiting lounge corridor was intelligently doneby giving sitting in a skew shape not onlyincreasing the corridor space but also addingto the dynamics of it. The passage is enhancedby use of customised fabric ceiling with 5WLed source inside used at various heights thuscreating an undulating topography addinginterest to the client’s mind while entering.

Use of a Feature colour
The Architects of Thought Parallels Shabna Nikhil and Nikhil Mohan who believe inbreaking the monotony in design created a different experience of a house built in traditional setup in Kerala away from city by adding a tint of contemporary styling to its vernacularform. Amongst the large open gardens and veranda this narrow entryway catches eye and is characterised by its teal blue flight of stairs made in folded steel in the back side of the stairssuspended with the help of rods from beam structure. The large glass window allowing splendid natural sunlight also adds to the experience and makes the staircase visible fromoutside thus making it an internal and an external feature as well.
